How it works

1. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the recycling engines of Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Scrap Trawler into a self-sustaining cycle fueled by cheap artifacts. Each time you cast Tormod's Crypt, Teshar's historic trigger pulls Scrap Trawler back from the graveyard, allowing you to sacrifice the Crypt to its own ability. You then feed Scrap Trawler to Phantom Train as a sacrifice cost, which triggers Scrap Trawler to return Tormod's Crypt right back to your hand so the whole process can begin anew.
