How it works

1. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns cheap artifact recycling into a permanent engine of rebirth, powered by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and their historic spell trigger. Whenever you cast Tormod's Crypt, Teshar reaches into the graveyard to pull back Scrap Trawler, which in turn acts as your recycling center when it goes to the graveyard. Umbral Collar Zealot provides the necessary sacrifice outlet, letting you feed Scrap Trawler to the graveyard while setting up your draws with surveil. As Scrap Trawler dies, its own ability triggers to return Tormod's Crypt straight back to your hand, ready to be recast and restart the entire chain.
