How it works

1. Cast Sol Ring by paying 1.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Sol Ring by tapping it, adding CC.
4. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Sol Ring.
5. When Sol Ring leaves the battlefield, Scrap Trawler triggers, returning any mana value 0 artifact from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
8. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Sol Ring from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
10. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms graveyard recursion and artifact recycling into an endless engine, fueled entirely by the mana from Sol Ring. Whenever you sacrifice your artifacts to Umbral Collar Zealot, Scrap Trawler swoops in to catch them on their way to the grave—returning a cheaper artifact when Sol Ring leaves, and bringing Sol Ring right back when Scrap Trawler itself is offered up. Tying the whole operation together is Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, whose historic-casting trigger can easily bootstrap Scrap Trawler back into play to start the cycle anew, letting you churn through your deck with infinite surveil triggers.
