How it works

1. Cast Hornet Queen by paying 4.
2. When Hornet Queen enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating four 1/1 Insect creature tokens.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar four times by sacrificing Hornet Queen and three Insect tokens, adding 3.
4. When Hornet Queen and the Insect tokens die, Demon of Dark Schemes' second ability triggers four times, causing you to get EEEE.
5. Activate Demon of Dark Schemes by paying 2 and EEEE, putting Hornet Queen from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This relentless loop leverages Phyrexian Altar as a sac-outlet to continuously feed Hornet Queen and its four Insect tokens into the graveyard, generating both mana and a steady supply of death triggers. Those deaths are immediately harvested by Demon of Dark Schemes, whose passive ability banks the necessary energy counters to fuel its activated recursion ability. By paying that energy cost along with a small mana investment, the Demon resurrects Hornet Queen right back to the battlefield, repeating the entire swarm-and-sacrifice cycle for infinite resources.
