How it works

1. Cast Abhorrent Overlord by paying 5.
2. When Abhorrent Overlord enters, it triggers, creating at least five 1/1 Harpy creature tokens.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing Abhorrent Overlord and two Harpy tokens, adding 2.
4. When the creatures die, Demon of Dark Schemes' second ability triggers three times, causing you to get EEE.
5. Activate Demon of Dark Schemes by paying 2 and EEEE, putting Abhorrent Overlord from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms your devotion to black into an endless engine of resurrection and sacrifice. When Abhorrent Overlord enters the battlefield, its massive swarm of flying Harpy tokens feeds directly into Phyrexian Altar, generating the mana needed to fuel the combo while sending your creatures to the graveyard. Each of those deaths powers up Demon of Dark Schemes, whose accumulated energy counters allow you to repeatedly yank Abhorrent Overlord straight out of the graveyard and back onto the battlefield to restart the entire cycle.
