How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Yahenni ability, giving it indestructible until end of turn.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop turns the back side of Invasion of Amonkhet—Lazotep Convert—into an immortal engine by repeatedly copying Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might as it enters the graveyard and the battlefield. Because the copy effect of Lazotep Convert allows it to continually look back at the original Ojer Axonil waiting in your graveyard, it re-enters as a fresh creature ready to be fed to Yahenni, Undying Partisan's sacrifice ability. This sacrifice not only keeps the loop going by triggering Lazotep Convert's return, but also permanently grows Yahenni thanks to its ability to collect +1/+1 counters whenever opposing creatures die, ultimately yielding an infinite number of creature deaths, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and a massively pumped Yahenni.
