How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Shilgengar ability
8. Repeat from step 4.

This loop relies on Lazotep Convert (the back face of Invasion of Amonkhet) entering the battlefield as a clever clone of Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might while Shilgengar, Sire of Famine lurks on your board. By constantly sacrificing your Ojer Axonil-copy to Shilgengar, you generate Blood tokens and trigger the commander's death-and-rebirth loop. Because Invasion of Amonkhet's transformed side returns itself to the battlefield whenever it dies, you can continually reset Lazotep Convert to copy Ojer Axonil anew, fueling an endless cascade of sacrifices and artifact creation.
