How it works

1. Activate Clever Conjurer by tapping it, targeting North Pole Patrol.
2. Clever Conjurer triggers, causing you to loot.
3. Resolve the Clever Conjurer ability, untapping North Pole Patrol.
4. Activate North Pole Patrol by tapping it, targeting Clever Conjurer.
5. North Pole Patrol triggers, causing you to loot.
6. Resolve the North Pole Patrol ability, untapping Clever Conjurer.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you cycle through your entire deck by exploiting a mutual untapping partnership between Clever Conjurer and North Pole Patrol. Because Unctus, Grand Metatect grants every blue creature a looting trigger whenever it becomes tapped, the simple act of activating either creature's tap ability turns them into a card-filtering engine. As the pair endlessly untap one another, Unctus's static pump also gives your artifact creatures a minor stat boost, but the real power here is digging through your library until you find your winning piece.
