How it works
Cast Hollow One either from your hand or from your graveyard by paying at most 1, causing it to enter the battlefield as a copy of the creature with Infinite Reflection attached.
Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Hollow One, adding .
If you cast Hollow One from your graveyard, Hollow One is not exiled by Abandoned Sarcophagus due to Infinite Reflection removing Hollow One's cycling ability.
Repeat.
If you have discarded three or more cards this turn, this combo nets infinite red mana.
This clever loop turns Hollow One into a renewable resource, allowing you to sacrifice it to Thermopod for red mana over and over again. The magic happens because Infinite Reflection strips away Hollow One's printed text box as it enters the battlefield, replacing it with the enchanted creature's characteristics—which crucially removes its cycling ability. This neat rules interaction lets Abandoned Sarcophagus ignore the card when it hits the graveyard instead of exiling it, enabling you to cast it right back out of the graveyard. Once the discount from its own cycling ability reduces its mana cost down to zero (or one, if you are fueling the loop with Thermopod's mana), you can repeat the process indefinitely as long as you've met the discard threshold.
