How it works

1. Activate Fertilid by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, causing you to search your library for a basic land card and put it on the battlefield untapped due to The Wandering Minstrel.
2. When the basic land enters, Tireless Provisioner and Retreat to Kazandu trigger.
3. Resolve the Tireless Provisioner trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. Resolve the Retreat to Kazandu trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Fertilid.
6. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Fertilid into a self-sustaining land-grabbing machine by recycling its own counters using the mana and triggers generated along the way. Each time you activate Fertilid, The Wandering Minstrel ensures the fetched land enters untapped so you can immediately tap it for mana while triggering Tireless Provisioner to create a Treasure token for the remaining cost. Meanwhile, Retreat to Kazandu replaces the +1/+1 counter you spent on Fertilid whenever that land drops, allowing you to seamlessly repeat the entire process until every basic land from your library is on the battlefield.
