How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Archon of Falling Stars.
2. When Archon of Falling Stars dies, it triggers, returning Necromancy from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Necromancy enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Archon of Falling Stars from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Necromancy to it.
4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Archon of Falling Stars' power.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop sets up a continuous cycle of sacrifice and resurrection using Altar of Dementia to mill your opponents out of the game. By feeding Archon of Falling Stars to the Altar, its death trigger pulls Necromancy out of the graveyard to restart the chain. In turn, Necromancy's entry ability immediately plucks the Archon right back from the graveyard and attaches itself, priming the engine to run over and over again.
