How it works
Cast Gigantoplasm by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
Put Gigantoplasm into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
Gigantoplasm's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
Resolve Gigantoplasm's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
Resolve Gigantoplasm's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop relies on Opalescence to turn our enchantments into creatures, letting Gigantoplasm enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up. Because multiple copies of the legendary enchantment would violate the legend rule, the state-based actions send one straight to the graveyard, triggering Rakdos Joins Up's return ability. That recursion immediately brings Gigantoplasm back to the battlefield with extra +1/+1 counters, creating an endless cycle of deaths and entries that repeatedly triggers Rakdos Joins Up's damage ability to wipe out an opponent.
