How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying .
2. When Appa enters, it triggers, airbending Aang.
3. Cast Aang from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Aang enters, it triggers, airbending Appa.
6. Cast Appa from exile by paying 0.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This loop thrives on an elegant loop of temporary exile and discount mana, turning a simple casting cycle into a torrential engine. With Rakdos, Lord of Riots actively reducing the cost of your creature spells based on opponent life loss, you can bypass normal mana restrictions to repeatedly cast your exiles. When you drop Appa, Steadfast Guardian into play, its entry trigger airbends Aang, Airbending Master, exiling him and letting you recast him at a heavily discounted rate. That departure simultaneously feeds Aang, Airbending Master's own entry trigger, which turns around and airbends Appa, Steadfast Guardian right back out—and because Appa, Steadfast Guardian's second ability triggers whenever you cast a spell from exile, every single iteration floods the board with 1/1 white Ally creature tokens while racking up experience counters for future upkeeps.
