How it works

1. Activate Royal Herbalist by paying 2 and exiling a card from your library, causing you to gain 1 life.
2. Archangel of Thune triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
3. Activate Cryptic Trilobite by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Cryptic Trilobite as your mana engine, using its activated ability to generate colorless mana that feeds right back into Royal Herbalist's exile-and-lifegain ability. Every time Royal Herbalist resolves, Archangel of Thune sees that life gain and hands out a +1/+1 counter to every creature you control—crucially including Cryptic Trilobite itself. Because removing a counter from Cryptic Trilobite gives you two mana while you only need a portion of that to keep the cycle spinning, you end up with extra mana leftover to pump your whole board into infinitely large threats while cycling through your entire library.
