How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Rakdos Carnarium.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Rakdos Carnarium.
5. When Rakdos Carnarium dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Rakdos Carnarium from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Rakdos Carnarium enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Toph, the First Metalbender transforming your 0-mana artifacts into lands, allowing Rakdos Carnarium's enter-the-battlefield trigger to return them to your hand. Meanwhile, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers off your spell casts to earthbend the Rakdos Carnarium into an animated land creature, making it a valid target to sacrifice to Bartolomé del Presidio. When you sacrifice that land, its death triggers the recursion built into the earthbend effect, sending it right back to the battlefield so the whole cycle can begin anew.
