How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Moritte of the Frost.
2. When Moritte of the Frost dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of River Kelpie with one +1/+1 counter on it due to its persist ability and its static effect.
3. When Moritte of the Frost enters the battlefield, it and River Kelpie's first ability triggers, causing you to draw two cards.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your graveyard into an engine by using Moritte of the Frost's unique copy ability as it triggers its own persist mechanic. When Moritte enters the battlefield as a copy of River Kelpie, River Kelpie's own static ability joins the newly minted copy to double up on card draw whenever Moritte enters from the graveyard. Meanwhile, Bartolomé del Presidio acts as the sacrificial outlet that feeds the cycle while growing larger with every iteration.
