How it works
Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Glasspool Mimic.
When Glasspool Mimic dies, its last ability from Cavalier of Night triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
When Glasspool Mimic enters the battlefield, its first triggered ability from Cavalier of Night triggers; choose not to sacrifice a creature.
Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 1.
Repeat.
This clever loop hinges on turning a clone into an engine of endless rebirth, starting with Bartolomé del Presidio as the sacrificial outlet to feed the loop. By sacrificing Glasspool Mimic (currently copying Cavalier of Night), you trigger the original Cavalier of Night's dying ability, which uses its own recursion to pluck that very same Mimic right back out of the graveyard. Because Glasspool Mimic enters the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night once again, its new entry triggers another instance of the Cavalier's ETB effect while seamlessly resetting the loop to be fed back into Bartolomé del Presidio's hunger.
