How it works

1. Cast Rescue Skiff by paying 5.
2. When Rescue Skiff enter the battlefield, it triggers, targeting Sharuum.
3. Holding priority, activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Rescue Skiff.
4. Resolve the Rescue Skiff trigger, returning Sharuum from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. When Sharuum enters the battlefield, it triggers, targeting Rescue Skiff.
6. Holding priority, activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Sharuum.
7. Resolve the Sharuum trigger, returning Rescue Skiff from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop relies on a recursive partnership between Sharuum the Hegemon and Rescue Skiff, which continually trade places bringing one another back from the graveyard. While they cycle back and forth, Bartolomé del Presidio acts as the essential executioner, happily sacrificing whichever piece is needed to fuel the cycle and growing infinitely large from the constant stream of deaths.
