How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Forsaken Miner.
2. When Forsaken Miner dies, Scavenger's Talent's second ability triggers, targeting an opponent, and Pitiless Plunderer triggers.
3. When you commit that crime, Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Scavenger's Talent trigger, causing an opponent to mill two cards.
5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
8. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Bartolomé del Presidio, who happily eats Forsaken Miner over and over to grow larger while triggering a cascade of death benefits.
