How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis' third ability and Piper Wright's second abilities trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Piper Wright trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' second ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the simple act of cracking Clues into a self-sustaining engine of growth. By using Bartolomé del Presidio to sacrifice a Clue token, you trigger both Lonis, Genetics Expert and Piper Wright, Publick Reporter at the same time—each of which rewards you with counter-placement triggers when Clues are sacrificed. As those triggers resolve to distribute counters back onto your creatures, Lonis's counter-placement ability naturally creates a brand new Clue token to replace the one you just lost. This closed-loop cycle lets you feed Bartolomé del Presidio endlessly while growing your entire board to arbitrarily large sizes.
