How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop turns the back side of Invasion of Amonkhet // Lazotep Convert into an infinitely recurring engine by continuously copying Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch // Temple of Cyclical Time from the graveyard. Because Lazotep Convert can enter as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq, it retains the death-triggered return ability that normally belongs to the legendary god—allowing Bartolomé del Presidio to safely sacrifice the clone and send it right back to the battlefield as a new copy. Each iteration of this sacrifice cycle grows Bartolomé del Presidio larger with a fresh +1/+1 counter while endlessly repeating both creature entry and death triggers.
