How it works

1. At the beginning of your combat phase, Ayara triggers, returning Coretapper from your graveyard to the battlefield and giving it haste until end of turn.
2. Activate Coretapper's first ability by tapping it, putting a charge counter on Magistrate's Scepter.
3. Activate Coretapper's second ability by sacrificing it, putting two charge counters on Magistrate's Scepter.
4. Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
5. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop centers around Magistrate's Scepter as the ultimate prize, utilizing its ability to continuously chain extra turns by stacking up charge counters. Coretapper plays the vital role of rapidly fueling those counters—first by tapping to add one, and then by sacrificing itself to immediately supply the final two needed. Meanwhile, Ayara, Widow of the Realm provides a persistent engine from the command zone or graveyard, resurrecting Coretapper at the start of every combat phase so the entire sequence can reset and repeat indefinitely.
