How it works

1. Cast Rancor by paying , attaching it to Endless Cockroaches.
2. When Rancor enters the battlefield, Composer of Spring triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Endless Cockroaches, adding .
4. When Endless Cockroaches dies, it and Rancor trigger.
5. Resolve the Rancor trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Endless Cockroaches trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
7. Resolve the Composer of Spring ability from step 2, putting Endless Cockroaches onto the battlefield from your hand.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the seamless partnership between Endless Cockroaches and Rancor, both of which naturally replace themselves in your hand when they leave the battlefield. By sacrificing Endless Cockroaches to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the exact mana needed to recast Rancor while triggering a cascade of returning resources. Meanwhile, Composer of Spring acts as your bridge, letting you cheat Endless Cockroaches right back onto the battlefield from your hand whenever your enchantments enter.
