How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Narcomoeba.
2. When Narcomoeba dies, Selhoff Occultist and Mortuary trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Narcomoeba from your graveyard on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Selhoff Occultist trigger, causing you to mill Narcomoeba from the top of your library.
5. Narcomoeba triggers, putting it from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability from step 1
7. Repeat.

This clever loop is orchestrated by Umbral Collar Zealot, which acts as the engine by sacrificing Narcomoeba to surveil and fuel the cycle. Whenever Narcomoeba hits the graveyard, Mortuary quietly ensures the creature immediately returns to the top of your library. From there, Selhoff Occultist triggers off the death to mill Narcomoeba right back out of your library and into the graveyard, which in turn causes Narcomoeba's own ability to trigger and put it straight back onto the battlefield.
