How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing a creature with mana value 1 or less.
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast the creature from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
4. Bontu's Monument triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into your personal deck-top workshop by letting Mortuary catch any cheap creature the moment it hits the bin. Thermopod is the engine that converts those creatures into the red mana you need, while Bontu's Monument provides the life buffer to sustain the loop and slowly drain the table. The real magic happens once Gwenom, Remorseless is in play, granting you the ability to cast that very same creature straight off the top of your library for life instead of mana. Because Bontu's Monument also reduces the casting cost of black creature spells, your life totals balance out while your opponents' life totals quickly plummet to zero.
