How it works
- Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Drowner of Hope.
- When Drowner of Hope enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating two 1/1 Eldrazi Scion creature tokens.
- Activate the Eldrazi Scions by tapping them, adding 2.
- Activate an Eldrazi Scion by sacrificing it, adding C.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite tapped Eldrazi Scion tokens, you may sacrifice them for infinite C, and then forego tapping or sacrificing subsequent Eldrazi Scions.
This loop transforms your battlefield into a continuous engine by using Eldrazi Displacer to repeatedly blink Drowner of Hope. Every iteration brings Drowner of Hope back to the battlefield to flood your board with fresh Eldrazi Scions, which then feed the colorless mana required to keep Eldrazi Displacer activating. Meanwhile, Path of Annihilation plays a crucial supporting role by granting those same tokens the ability to tap for any color of mana alongside your colorless output, while Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures that everything rushing into play benefits from haste.
