How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Cult Conscript, adding B mana.
  2. When Cult Conscript dies, Bhaal triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Cryptic Trilobite and goading it.
  3. Activate Cryptic Trilobite by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
  4. Activate Cult Conscript by paying 1B mana, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
  5. Repeat.
