How it works

1. Activate Imagecrafter by tapping it, causing Magmaw to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating a Food and a Treasure token.
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns Magmaw into a lethal cannon by using Imagecrafter to temporarily rewrite its creature type to Pirate. Once Magmaw is disguised as a Pirate, sacrificing a nonland permanent to activate its ability lets it deal damage to an opponent, which immediately triggers Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator to generate a Treasure token for each opponent dealt damage. Thanks to Peregrin Took's replacement effect, that token creation is supercharged to also yield an additional Food token every single time. By cycling the mana from the sacrificed Treasure right back into Magmaw and utilizing your accumulated food and permanent resources, you can repeat this process indefinitely to burn out the table.
