How it works

1. Activate Imagecrafter by tapping it, causing Magmaw to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Imagecrafter to temporarily rewrite Magmaw's creature type to Pirate, turning its damage-dealing sacrifices into a source of explosive value. Each time Magmaw uses its ability to hurl a permanent at an opponent, Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator triggers to reward your Pirates' aggression with double the bounty thanks to Elspeth, Storm Slayer's token-doubling replacement effect. Those extra Treasures easily fund Magmaw's activation cost and the loop itself, fueling a continuous loop of sacrifice and damage that burns your opponents away to nothing.
