How it works

1. Cast Heat Shimmer by paying 2, creating a token copy of Bladewing with haste.
2. Put the nontoken Bladewing from the battlefield into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. The Bladewing token's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, returning Bladewing from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Put Bladewing from the battlefield into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
5. Bladewing's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 4.
