How it works

1. Activate Cormela by paying 1 and tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast instant and/or sorcery spells.
2. Cast Heat Shimmer by paying 2.
3. Storm-Kiln Artist triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
4. Resolve Heat Shimmer, creating a token copy of Cormela.
5. Put the tapped Cormela into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
6. Cormela dies, triggering itself, returning Heat Shimmer from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop is powered by Storm-Kiln Artist, whose magecraft ability turns every spell you cast into a Treasure token to help pay your costs. You use that generated mana along with Cormela, Glamour Thief's own tap ability to fund Heat Shimmer targeting Cormela herself. The legend rule steps in to send the original Cormela to the graveyard, triggering her ability to return Heat Shimmer right back to your hand while the copy lives on to repeat the cycle anew.
