How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using a Rogue.
2. Cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost by paying 5, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Repository Skaab by paying 3.
4. When Repository Skaab enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers, causing it to exploit itself. Its second ability then triggers, returning Notorious Throng from your graveyard to your hand.
5. At the beginning of your end step, Golbez's second ability triggers, returning Repository Skaab from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat each turn.

This brilliant recursive engine is anchored by Golbez, Crystal Collector, whose end-step trigger rescues Repository Skaab from your graveyard whenever your artifact count meets the threshold. Once Repository Skaab enters the battlefield and exploits itself, its own triggered ability plucks Notorious Throng back from the graveyard into your hand. You can then recast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost—enabled by your Rogue's earlier combat damage—to take an extra turn, feeding the loop indefinitely while locking down the game.
