How it works

1. Activate Patchwork Crawler using Sakura-Tribe Scout's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Patchwork Crawler using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Patchwork Crawler.
4. Repeat.

This clever interaction transforms **Patchwork Crawler** into a one-man engine by feeding it the activated abilities of both **Trench Behemoth** and **Sakura-Tribe Scout** from the graveyard. Once exiled, **Patchwork Crawler** uses the **Sakura-Tribe Scout** ability to drop a land onto the battlefield, which then gets bounced right back to your hand by the **Trench Behemoth** ability to untap the **Patchwork Crawler** and repeat the process. Because the land entering the battlefield triggers its own landfall ability—and can be tapped for mana before being returned—this loop generates infinite mana alongside an endless stream of landfall triggers.
