How it works

1. Activate Megatog by sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis' third ability and Piper Wright's second abilities trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Piper Wright trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' second ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. Resolve the Megatog ability from step 1, giving it +3/+3 until end of turn.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop feeds on itself by turning the sacrifice of artifact tokens into a cascading engine of growth. When Megatog sacrifices a Clue to pump its own stats, it triggers both Lonis, Genetics Expert and Piper Wright, Publick Reporter simultaneously. Their shared ability to place +1/+1 counters on your creatures allows them to buff each other in turn—Piper Wright putting a counter on Lonis, which prompts Lonis to investigate and replace the sacrificed Clue. Because Lonis also distributes a counter to another creature of your choice every time a Clue is sacrificed, you can endlessly pump your board while fueling Megatog's insatiable appetite.
