How it works

1. Activate Megatog by sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis' second ability and Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. Resolve the Megatog ability from step 1, giving it +3/+3 until end of turn.
7. Repeat.

This elegant recycling loop turns the relentless artifact consumption of Megatog into a cascade of permanent growth. By sacrificing a Clue to fuel Megatog's power-boosting ability, you send that Clue to the graveyard, which immediately triggers Tarrian's Soulcleaver to place a +1/+1 counter on Lonis, Genetics Expert. That counter drop on Lonis prompts her to investigate, replacing the sacrificed Clue with a brand-new Clue artifact token, while her third ability simultaneously redirects another counter onto a creature of your choice. Because sacrificing the Clue also causes Tarrian's Soulcleaver to trigger its own counter-granting effect right back onto Lonis, the entire engine loops seamlessly to churn out infinite sacrifices and leave your board covered in endless +1/+1 counters.
