How it works

1. Cast Feign Death by paying , targeting Living Lightning.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Living Lightning, adding .
3. When Living Lightning dies, it triggers twice.
4. Resolve the first trigger, returning Feign Death from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the second trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat.

This loop creates an infinite self-sustaining cycle by turning Phyrexian Altar into a recursion engine for Living Lightning. Because Living Lightning triggers twice upon death—thanks to its own ability combined with the delayed trigger granted by Feign Death—you have more than enough triggers to both recast Feign Death and return it straight back to the battlefield.
