How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Treebeard's second ability triggers, putting that many +1/+1 counters on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. When the Squirrel enters the battlefield, Impassioned Orator triggers, causing you to gain life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This charming loop starts by converting any life gain into immediate fuel for Treebeard, Gracious Host, which uses those triggers to pump Scurry Oak with +1/+1 counters. Every time Scurry Oak grows, its own triggered ability creates a 1/1 Squirrel creature token, which in turn causes Impassioned Orator to trigger and hand you the life gain needed to restart the cycle. The synergy of these pieces allows you to flood the board with endless creatures and grow your threats to astronomical proportions all at once.
