How it works

1. Cast Storm of Souls by paying its mana cost
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Storm of Souls.
4. Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Storm of Souls
6. Resolve the Storm of Souls copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop begins when you cast Storm of Souls to flood your board, but the real engine ignites the moment you drop Dualcaster Mage into the mix. As Dualcaster enters the battlefield, its triggered ability targets the original Storm of Souls on the stack, allowing you to continually copy the sorcery and recur your fallen threats. Thermopod serves as the crucial sacrifice outlet, letting you feed Dualcaster Mage right back into the snow-fueled fires for red mana to keep the cycle going. Together, these pieces turn a mass-reanimation spell into an infinite sacrifice engine that pumps out boundless red mana and death triggers.
