How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 1.
2. When Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, it and Arahbo trigger.
3. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Arahbo trigger, creating a 1/1 Cat and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Cat and Squirrel, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Whitemane Lion into an endless engine of sacrifice by leveraging its self-bouncing entry trigger alongside Arahbo, the First Fang, which replaces every Cat that enters with a fresh token. Meanwhile, Chatterfang, Squirrel General watches those Cats arrive and happily doubles the production by spawning an extra Squirrel token right alongside them. You can then feed both newly minted creatures directly into Phyrexian Altar, harvesting the exact mana needed to recast the Lion and start the whole sequence over again.
