How it works

1. Activate Toymaker's first ability by paying 1, tapping it and discarding a card, causing Isochron Scepter to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
2. Activate creatures you control by tapping those, adding 3.
3. Activate Isochron Scepter by paying 2 and tapping it, casting a copy of Energy Arc without paying its mana cost, untapping all creatures.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Isochron Scepter into a self-sustaining engine by first enlivening the artifact with Toymaker, allowing it to be tapped as a creature to help pay for its own activation costs. Once Energy Arc is imprinted onto the Scepter, casting the copy for free each cycle lets you untap your entire board of mana-producing creatures to continuously reset the loop. Toymaker is the crucial catalyst that bridges the gap between your creatures' tapping mana abilities and the Scepter's artifact nature, letting Energy Arc fuel infinite mana and an arbitrarily large storm count.
