How it works

1. Activate Sling-Gang Lieutenant by sacrificing Putrid Goblin.
2. When Putrid Goblin dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Master Chef.
3. Resolve the Sling-Gang Lieutenant ability.
4. Repeat.

This brilliant little loop weaponizes the interplay between -1/-1 counters and +1/+1 counters to drain your opponents out of the game entirely. Sling-Gang Lieutenant acts as both the sacrificial outlet and the win condition, turning every iteration into life loss for your foes and life for you. The real magic, however, lies in how Master Chef neutralizes Putrid Goblin's native drawback: by causing the Goblin to enter with an additional +1/+1 counter, that counter immediately annihilates the -1/-1 counter from persist, allowing the Goblin to cheat death over and over again.
