How it works
- Activate Clickslither by sacrificing Putrid Goblin
- When Putrid Goblin dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- When Putrid Goblin enters, Good-Fortune Unicorn triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Putrid Goblin.
- Resolve the Clickslither ability.
- Repeat.
This loop transforms a humble goblin into an engine of endless sacrifices by exploiting how counters interact. When you feed Putrid Goblin to Clickslither, the goblin's persist ability brings it straight back to the battlefield bearing a -1/-1 counter, but the watchful presence of Good-Fortune Unicorn immediately steps in to place a +1/+1 counter on it, neutralizing the -1/-1 counter through state-based actions so the cycle can begin anew.
