How it works

1. Activate Mogg Raider by sacrificing Putrid Goblin
2. When Putrid Goblin dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Putrid Goblin enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Mogg Raider ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant rebirth of Putrid Goblin, whose persist ability would normally bring it back with a hindering -1/-1 counter; however, thanks to the static ability granted by Cayth, Famed Mechanist giving all other nontoken creatures fabricate 1, entering the battlefield triggers a +1/+1 counter that instantly neutralizes the -1/-1 counter through state-based actions. You can feed Putrid Goblin over and over to Mogg Raider's sacrifice outlet, letting you repeat the process indefinitely to rack up an endless storm of creature deaths, enters-the-battlefield events, and massive power boosts.
