How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Putrid Goblin.
2. When Putrid Goblin dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
4. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Putrid Goblin.
5. When Putrid Goblin dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns the clash of opposing counters into an engine of endless destruction, fueled by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed granting his static +1/+1 buff and undying to your non-Humans. You begin by throwing Putrid Goblin to Goblin Bombardment, whose persist ability brings it back bearing a -1/-1 counter. When you sacrifice it a second time, the undying granted by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed counters that -1/-1 counter, resetting Putrid Goblin so its persist triggers all over again. By endlessly cycling the goblin back and forth between these two triggers, Goblin Bombardment can hurl infinite damage directly at your opponents.
