How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Moonblade Shinobi, triggering Breath of Fury and Moonblade Shinobi.
2. Resolve the Moonblade Shinobi trigger, creating a creature token.
3. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This thrilling loop transforms a simple strike into an endless warpath by constantly recycling your own attackers. When your enchanted threat connects, Breath of Fury triggers to sacrifice it and reattach to a fresh target, untapping your board and granting an extra combat phase. That's where Moonblade Shinobi shines, slipping in unblocked or entering the fray to flood your board with Illusion tokens that immediately become new hosts for the aura. Meanwhile, Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures your newly deployed threats don't have to wait to join the assault, granting them haste so the entire cycle can repeat endlessly.
