How it works

1. Activate Heartless Hidetsugu by tapping it, causing it to deal damage to each players equal to their life total.

This explosive setup turns a symmetrical table-wiped in half into an instant win by leveraging a clever bit of math and protection. With Platinum Angel safely on your side of the battlefield, you are completely shielded from losing the game, which removes the danger of the self-harming effects to come. You then drop Dictate of the Twin Gods—using its flash to time it right before your turn or during an opponent's end step—to double any damage dealt. When you finally tap Heartless Hidetsugu, it cuts every player's life total in half, but thanks to the damage-doubling enchantment, that halved total instantly becomes 100% of each opponent's current life, obliterating them while leaving you standing.
