How it works

1. Activate Axebane Guardian by tapping it, adding at least two mana of any color
2. Activate Aphetto Alchemist by tapping it, targeting Axebane Guardian.
3. Battlemage's Bracers triggers, causing you to pay 1 to copy Aphetto Alchemist's ability, targeting Aphetto Alchemist.
4. Resolve both Aphetto Alchemist abilities, untapping it and Axebane Guardian.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Axebane Guardian and Aphetto Alchemist into a self-sustaining mana and untap engine, supercharged by the hardware of Battlemage's Bracers. Because Axebane Guardian taps to produce mana scaling with your defenders, it easily funds the activation costs required to keep the cycle going. Meanwhile, the equipped Battlemage's Bracers steps in to duplicate Aphetto Alchemist's untap ability, allowing it to untap both the mana producer and itself simultaneously.
