How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Brotherhood Outcast.
2. When Brotherhood Outcast dies, Gift of Immortality triggers, returning Brotherhood Outcast from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Brotherhood Outcast enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Gift of Immortality from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Brotherhood Outcast.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns the cycle of life and death into a well-oiled machine by letting Brotherhood Outcast recur its own magical vestments. When you sacrifice the Outcast to Umbral Collar Zealot's ability, its demise triggers the attached Gift of Immortality, which brings the creature straight back from the graveyard. That new entrance instantly triggers the Outcast's own ability, plucking Gift of Immortality right back out of the yard and reattaching it. Because the Zealot's sacrifice requirement is met without costing any mana, you can repeat this process endlessly to churn through your entire library via infinite surveil triggers.
