How it works

1. Cast Hollow One from your graveyard by paying at most 1.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Hollow One, adding one mana of any color.
3. Hollow One is not exiled by Abandoned Sarcophagus due to Humility removing Hollow One's cycling ability.
4. Repeat.
5. If you have discarded and/or cycled three or more cards, this combo nets infinite colored mana.

This bizarre loop hinges entirely on Humility’s sweeping static ability, which strips Hollow One of its native cycling ability so that Abandoned Sarcophagus fails to exile it when it leaves the battlefield. Because the creature hits the graveyard naturally rather than being exiled, Abandoned Sarcophagus’s replacement effect lets you recast Hollow One right back out of your graveyard for a heavily discounted rate—or even for free, once you have cycled or discarded enough times that turn. You then feed that recast creature straight to Phyrexian Altar, sacrificing it for a color of mana that easily funds the next casting attempt while generating an endless stream of death and sacrifice triggers.
