How it works

1. Animate Solar Array, if needed.
2. Cast Freed from the Real by paying its mana cost, attaching it to Solar Array.
3. Activate Solar Array by tapping it, adding and causing the next artifact spell you cast this turn to have sunburst.
4. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Solar Array.
5. Repeat from step 3 as desired.
6. Cast any artifact spell, triggering its sunburst ability an infinite number of times, either putting infinite +1/+1 counters on charge counters on the artifact.

This ingenious engine transforms a humble mana rock into a bottomless well of blue mana by layering effect upon effect. Xenic Poltergeist does the crucial heavy lifting of turning Solar Array into an artifact creature, making it a legal host for Freed from the Real. Once enchanted, tapping the newly animated Solar Array for blue mana feeds directly back into Freed from the Real's untap cost, creating an infinite mana loop. Because Solar Array's activated ability also bestows sunburst upon your next artifact spell, generating infinite mana this way means you can eventually cast any artifact spell with an arbitrarily massive number of color triggers, flooding the board with infinite counters.
